BURGOS — A group of young dancers from La Danse Company in Sarawak made Malaysia proud by performing at the Dance World Cup 2025 World Final in Burgos, Spain.

They competed with dancers from more than 60 countries and did very well in many categories. The team showed great talent, hard work, and love for dance. Some of their dances even made it into the TOP 10 in the world.

Sarawak Spirit on the World Stage

During the big opening parade, the dancers waved the Sarawak flag with pride and led the crowd in the Poco-Poco dance. This brought lots of cheers and showed the world the happy and colourful culture of Sarawak.

Top Results from the Competition

Even though many other dancers were older and more experienced, the Sarawak team gave strong performances. Their effort and teamwork helped them achieve high scores.

  • 10th PlaceJunior Ballet Duet/Trio — “Amity and Elegance” (Score: 80.8%)

A Big Moment for Sarawak

These young dancers worked very hard and gave their best. They have shown that Sarawak has world-class talent. Their success is a proud moment for their families, teachers, and all Malaysians.
