DBKU – The Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) hosted a memorable Aidilfitri Open House today, which ran from 10 am to 4 pm, bringing together people from all walks of life. The event, held at the DBKU premises, was a heartwarming occasion designed to foster closer bonds between DBKU and the residents of Kuching, while sharing the joyous spirit of Aidilfitri.

The open house was an opportunity for locals to come together, celebrate the festive season, and enjoy a range of traditional Hari Raya dishes. The event’s vibrant atmosphere was a reflection of DBKU’s continued commitment to strengthening ties within the local community and promoting the important values of unity and togetherness. With the backdrop of colorful decorations and festive cheer, the open house was an ideal way for Kuchingites to celebrate after the Ramadan fasting period.

Among the key figures present was Yang Berhormat Datuk Dr Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Junaidi, the Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department, who serves as the Project Coordinator for the Regional Development Agency, Kuching North City Hall, and Islamic Affairs. His presence underscored the significance of the event in fostering unity and strengthening relationships within the city.

The event was also graced by other distinguished guests, including Yang Berbahagia Dato Haji Hilmy bin Haji Othman, the Mayor of Kuching North, and Yang Berusaha Encik Ramzi bin Abdillah, the Director of DBKU. Other notable figures who attended included Yang Berhormat Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, the Deputy Premier of Sarawak, and YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy binti Shukri, the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development.

In addition to the delicious food and entertainment, the presence of these key leaders highlighted the event’s importance in building community spirit and encouraging collaboration across various sectors.
