Erra Fazira Marries Ezwan Zain in Heartfelt Morning Ceremony

Erra Fazira Marries Ezwan Zain in Heartfelt Morning Ceremony

Erra Fazira marked a new chapter in her life today after officially becoming the wife of television personality Ezwan Zain. The akad nikah ceremony was held in Kampung Melayu Subang, drawing around 300 guests made up of close family members and trusted friends. The atmosphere reflected the couple’s long-awaited moment, sealed with the pronouncement of vows at exactly 9.20 am.

The event carried a sense of tradition, with every detail honouring the customs that have shaped Malay weddings for generations. Erra, 51, received a 102-gram gold flower as her dowry, a meaningful token symbolising unity between the two families. Alongside the dowry, she was also presented with several wedding gifts, including a collection of gold items, a handbag, a watch and a pair of shoes. These items were placed neatly on trays, continuing a practice familiar to many Malaysian households.

Ezwan, 44, better known to fans as Mr E, exchanged his vows with calm confidence as the officiant, Assistant Registrar of Marriages with the Selangor Islamic Religious Council, Mohd Sabirin Noordin, led the ceremony. The moment was met with warm smiles from both sides of the family, many of whom have stood by the couple throughout their relationship.

The pair appeared in coordinated light blue outfits crafted by celebrated designer Rizman Ruzaini. Their matching attire added a soft elegance to the ceremony and reflected the couple’s shared sense of style. Guests described the atmosphere as peaceful and meaningful, noting that the couple looked genuinely happy as they greeted loved ones after the ceremony.

This marriage marks a significant moment for both Erra and Ezwan as they begin a new journey grounded in commitment and understanding. Their union has also drawn the attention of fans across the country, many of whom have followed Erra’s career for decades and continue to support her personal milestones.

As the celebration continues, the couple’s families expressed hope for a blessed and lasting marriage, true to the values cherished in Malaysian households. The day stood as a reminder of the beauty of tradition, balanced with the excitement of new beginnings.
