PADAWAN: A shocking incident unfolded last night in Kampung Haji Baki, where a family dispute tragically escalated to murder. Local police have arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly killing his 55-year-old uncle with a pair of scissors.

Police Confirmation and Details

Padawan police chief, Superintendent Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi, confirmed the incident this morning, stating, “The deceased is a 55-year-old man, who was stabbed in the chest with a pair of scissors. Police arrested the 27-year-old suspect around 9 pm, not long after the crime happened.”

Investigation Underway

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which pertains to murder. According to the police, there was a family dispute between the deceased and the suspect prior to the incident. The suspect is believed to be the deceased’s nephew. However, the exact motive behind this tragic event is still under investigation.
