LABUAN – At approximately 11:30 am today, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, wife of the Sarawak Yang di‑Pertua Negeri, graciously accompanied the departure of Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah and YAM Tunku Idris Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Temenggong of Johor, at Labuan Airport.
She was joined by prominent figures including Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa, federal MP Dr Suhaili Abdul Rahman, Federal Territories Department DG Datuk Seri Noridah Abdul Rahim, and KL Mayor Datuk Seri Maimunah Mohd Sharif.
The royal entourage had earlier touched down around 11:27 am as part of a two‑day official visit tied to the Borneo Floral Festival 2025, hosted at Labuan’s International Sea Sports Complex.
During her time, the Raja Permaisuri officiated the festival and engaged with dignitaries and exhibitors from Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Kalimantan 🇧🇳 — showcasing over 12,000 ornamental plants in a bid to strengthen regional cooperation and boost Labuan’s tourism and economy.
Toh Puan Fauziah extended heartfelt appreciation for the Queen’s presence in endorsing Labuan as the festival host for the first time outside Putrajaya, aligning with broader efforts to reposition Labuan’s event strategy and regional appeal.
