“Continuous rain caused several houses in low-lying areas near the stream to be affected. The water level is now receding,” the report noted.

While there are no reports of casualties or injuries, the flash flood has left residents concerned about possible recurring incidents as weather conditions remain unpredictable. The current weather at the location is still drizzling.

As of now, no temporary flood relief centres (PPS) have been opened, with residents opting to stay in their homes as the water level gradually subsides. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and advise villagers to stay vigilant, particularly in areas prone to flash floods.

This incident highlights the importance of early flood warnings and preparedness in flood-prone regions like Kampung Tringgus Rabak Rotan.

Residents are urged to heed weather updates and follow instructions from local authorities to ensure their safety.
