Four Seriously Injured in Serian-Tebedu Road Crash Near Kampung Pichin

SERIAN: A serious road accident on Jalan Serian-Tebedu near Kampung Pichin this afternoon left four individuals with severe injuries after a Perodua Myvi collided with a Nissan Urvan.

The incident occurred around 2.20 pm, prompting an immediate response from the Serian Fire and Rescue Station (BBP). According to Operations Commander PBKII Bujang Ina, a team of five firefighters, along with a fire engine (FRT) and an Emergency Response Service (EMRS) unit, was dispatched to the scene.

By the time authorities arrived at 2.31 pm, all victims had already been rescued by members of the public. However, four individuals—three men and one woman—suffered serious injuries and required urgent medical attention. They were transported to the hospital via EMRS vehicle.

Meanwhile, five other individuals from the Nissan Urvan sustained minor injuries. As no ambulance was immediately available, they were taken to the hospital using public transport.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash, and road users are urged to drive cautiously to prevent similar accidents.
