Free Vegetarian Meals Bring Joy to Kuching’s Lantern Festival Celebration

KUCHING, 12 February 2025 The Lantern Festival in Padungan was celebrated with love, kindness, and delicious food as Team Dynamic Kuching distributed free vegetarian meal boxes to the public. This meaningful gesture was held at South Asia Ong Kee Trading, bringing the community together to mark the 15th day of the first lunar month in true festive spirit.

The event was led by MBKS Councilor Eric Tay Tze Kok, who expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the programme. A total of 120 packets of vegetarian lunch, along with mandarin oranges and packet drinks, were handed out to residents. “A huge thank you to Tuan Enix Gø’h, Cr Liew Leongyee, Kapitan Bong Ngim Sin, Kapitan Kui Hua Kueh, Kapitan Tony Wee, Padungan Police, JKKK, and our hardworking team members for their amazing support,” said Councilor Tay.
