G-PDRM Cycling Team Triumphs at DBKU Road Race 3.0 in Kuching

Kuching, Sarawak — The G-PDRM Cycling Team conquered the challenging DBKU Road Race 3.0, dominating a 126-kilometre route and outperforming 130 riders from Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, and South Africa. Their remarkable performance, particularly on the grueling Bukit Siol ascent, secured them the Team Champion title, cementing their reputation as a powerhouse in regional cycling.

The event featured five major categories: Junior Champion, King of Mountain, King of Sprint, Best Individual, and Team Champion, with the G-PDRM squad showing consistent strength, teamwork, and strategy throughout the race. Close competitors included the Tugau Vaie Elite Team, finishing second, and Ghost Speed Racing Team A, taking third place.

The championship victory not only brought glory but also contributed to the total prize pool of RM15,650 awarded to standout performers. Organisers expressed their heartfelt thanks to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak, PDRM, JBPM, as well as all sponsors and security agencies whose support made the event possible.

Event organisers praised the G-PDRM Cycling Team for their exceptional display of endurance, teamwork, and sportsmanship. “Their victory is a testament to their preparation, discipline, and commitment to cycling,” said one organiser. “They have truly set a benchmark for all future participants.”

The DBKU Road Race 3.0 continues to highlight Kuching as a regional hub for competitive cycling, promoting a healthy lifestyle, sporting excellence, and community engagement. With the G-PDRM Cycling Team at the forefront, the event has once again demonstrated that success is built on teamwork, dedication, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
