KUCHING, 8 March 2024 – In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, YB Dato Lo Khere Chiang personally delivered flowers to women at 3rd Mile and 10th Mile Markets in conjunction with International Women’s Day. This simple yet meaningful act aimed to celebrate the contributions of women in all aspects of life—family, society, culture, economy, and politics.
International Women’s Day is marked globally to recognise the economic, social, and political achievements of women. It is a day to reflect on how far women have come in breaking stereotypes and overcoming limitations. From home to the workplace, women continue to make significant strides in all sectors.
