YB Dato Lo Handover Renovated Home to Kampung Burung Lilin Resident

Batu Kitang, Sarawak – Today marked a heartwarming moment for Mr. Suwanto Sadiman and his family as YB Dato Lo Khere Chiang, representative for N13 Batu Kitang, officially attended the handover ceremony of their newly renovated home at No. 53, Kampung Burung Lilin, Jalan Arang.

The renovation project, part of ongoing community welfare initiatives led by YB Dato Lo, aims to improve living conditions and ensure the safety and comfort of residents in the area. During the ceremony, YB Dato Lo emphasized the importance of supporting local families and maintaining the well-being of the community as a top priority.

“The government and our local representatives remain committed to uplifting the lives of our people. Every home renovated is not just about physical improvement, but also about giving hope and security to families,” YB Dato Lo said during his speech at the event.

Mr. Suwanto expressed his heartfelt gratitude to YB Dato Lo and his team for the initiative. “We are truly grateful. The renovation has transformed our home into a safer and more comfortable place for our family. It will make a big difference in our daily lives,” he said.

The project involved structural repairs, painting, and general improvements to ensure the house meets modern safety standards. Volunteers and community members were also present to witness the handover, highlighting the spirit of togetherness and mutual support in Kampung Burung Lilin.

Such initiatives reflect ongoing efforts by local representatives to directly impact citizens’ lives, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas, where community welfare programs continue to play a vital role in fostering social development.

The renovated house stands as a symbol of care, commitment, and the positive changes that well-executed community projects can bring to ordinary families.
