LIMBANG – The Integrated Administration Centre (IAC) Limbang is scheduled for completion in November 2026, marking a significant milestone in Sarawak’s public service transformation agenda.
The new facility is expected to become a modern landmark in Limbang, reshaping the district’s administrative landscape by consolidating various government agencies under one roof.
This centralisation aims to improve efficiency, strengthen governance, and simplify public access to essential services.
The project reflects Sarawak’s broader commitment to modernising its public service delivery system. By integrating digitalisation and promoting a high-performance work culture, the IAC is designed to meet the needs of the people more quickly and effectively.
Officials believe that the centre will reduce bureaucratic delays and enhance transparency in government operations.
Strategically located, the IAC will serve as a hub for administrative functions, providing residents with easier access to multiple agencies without the need to travel between different offices. This approach is expected to save time and resources for both the public and government staff.
The initiative also aligns with Sarawak’s vision of sustainable development, as the centre incorporates modern infrastructure standards and digital solutions.
By embedding technology into its operations, the IAC will support the state’s long-term goal of building a responsive and innovative public sector.
The Corporate Communications Branch has highlighted that the IAC Limbang is not only a physical development but also a symbol of Sarawak’s evolving governance model.
It represents a shift towards service delivery that prioritises efficiency, accountability, and the well-being of the people.
Once operational, the IAC is anticipated to play a crucial role in supporting Limbang’s growth, providing a foundation for improved administrative capacity and contributing to the district’s socio-economic progress.
