Donald Lawan, father of the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Datuk Snowdan Lawan, died at the Borneo Medical Centre (BMC) here in Kuching at precisely 6.38 pm. The unfortunate news was confirmed by Snowdan’s press secretary, Lawrence Duda, who stated, “Further details will be announced tomorrow.”

The late Donald Lawan was a distinguished Dayak businessman and a significant figure in the Sri Aman community.
