Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of at least 30 Palestinians, including a senior civil emergency official and a local journalist, according to Palestine health authorities.

In Jabalia, northern Gaza, journalist Hassan Majdi Abu Warda and several family members were killed when an airstrike hit their home. His death brings the number of journalists killed in Gaza since the onset of the conflict to 220, as reported by the Gaza health ministry.

In a separate incident in Nuseirat, central Gaza, Ashraf Abu Nar, a senior official in the territory’s civil emergency service, and his wife were killed in their residence by an Israeli airstrike.

The ongoing conflict has severely impacted Gaza’s infrastructure and humanitarian conditions, with aid organizations reporting critical shortages of medical supplies and essential services.

International leaders have called for restraint and the protection of civilians, emphasizing the urgent need for a ceasefire to prevent further loss of life.
