During the inspection, he was accompanied by the JBALB Betong Division technical team, who conducted a detailed review of the water system to ensure that it was functioning efficiently and meeting community needs.

The visit was aimed at strengthening oversight and ensuring that facilities continue to deliver reliable services.

In addition to the technical assessment, Ahmad Selihin engaged directly with local residents to gather feedback on water supply services in the area.

This interaction provided valuable insights into community concerns and expectations, reinforcing JBALB’s commitment to responsive service delivery.

The department emphasised that such visits are part of its ongoing efforts to guarantee efficient, continuous and sustainable water supply for the well-being of the people.

JBALB Sarawak has consistently highlighted the importance of proactive monitoring and community engagement to address challenges and improve service quality.

By combining technical inspections with dialogue sessions, JBALB aims to strengthen trust between the department and local communities, ensuring that infrastructure projects and operational improvements align with public needs.

The visit reflects JBALB’s broader mission to provide reliable water services across Sarawak, particularly in rural areas where access to clean water is vital for health, livelihoods and development.

The department reiterated its dedication to maintaining high standards of integrity, efficiency and responsiveness in all its operations.
