Pasir Mas District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Kama Azural Mohamed, confirmed the arrest and said the suspect has been wanted in connection with the cold-blooded killing of Farah Emirah, 26, who was found dead in her Nissan Cefiro with a gunshot wound to her stomach. The incident shocked the nation and left a void in the lives of her three young children.

Speaking on behalf of the family, her uncle, Mohd Nordin Che Sulaiman, 53, expressed his deep gratitude that the man believed to be responsible was finally caught.

“We have prayed every day for this moment. Her death was cruel, and we want justice for her and her unborn child. Our only hope now is that the suspect will be charged and punished accordingly,” he said.

He revealed that Farah’s three children, aged between six and 13, are currently being raised by his 71-year-old mother, Zawiyah Sulong, in Kampung Bukit Lata.

According to Nordin, the suspect was known to the victim and had been moving between Malaysia and Thailand to avoid capture.

“We also tried to locate him over the years. We leave the rest to the police and trust the law will run its course,” he added.

Farah, a small trader, was found slumped in the driver’s seat with a bullet wound on the left side of her stomach. Her brutal death raised serious concerns about violence against women and sparked calls for swift justice.
