Kuching, Sarawak – Taylor Louise, a gifted young vocalist from Kuching, has added another impressive accomplishment to her musical journey. The 10-year-old sensation recently clinched the Champion title for the Vocal Pop category (10-11 years) in the Preliminary Round of the Asia Students Art Festival (ASAF), held online and representing both Sarawak and Malaysia. Now, Taylor has her sights set on the prestigious International Final Round in Hong Kong, scheduled for January 11-12, 2025.

This milestone holds special significance for Taylor, as it’s her first opportunity to participate on such a grand scale, representing Malaysia among students from across Asia.

Organized by First Education Hong Kong, ASAF is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The festival attracts participants from diverse backgrounds and countries, including Hong Kong, Macau, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and Singapore, fostering cultural exchange and artistic growth. Contestants in the final round will experience a unique opportunity to engage with others from different countries, sharing their skills in music and dance and exploring the vibrant cultural fabric of the region.

As an added honor, top award winners from the ASAF finals in Hong Kong will be invited to showcase their talents at the ASAF 10th Anniversary Winner Showcase, to be held at the Royal College of Music in the UK from July 31 to August 5, 2025. This showcase will feature concert performances and masterclasses in both music and dance.
