The blaze destroyed five homes and damaged three more in the village. To offer immediate assistance, Dayang Noorazah secured house fire relief grants (BEKR) and building materials for affected residents. She also disbursed RM2,000 to each of the five households whose homes were completely destroyed, and RM500 to each of the three whose homes sustained damage.
Furthering support, she pledged rental subsidies of RM800 per month to three selected families. The amount will cover twelve months, with the first six months paid upfront directly to homeowners to enable families to leave temporary evacuation centres and begin recovery.
In efforts to prepare for reconstruction, she also arranged for the removal of an outdated tower through the RTP project, clearing the way for new housing development. Residents have been encouraged to liaise with the Land and Survey Office to confirm their property boundaries and locations to avoid complications during rebuilding.
