MBKS Acts Quickly on Jalan Stampin Tengah Sinkhole

KUCHING – The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) responded promptly to a reported sinkhole at Jalan Stampin Tengah on Saturday evening, reinforcing its commitment to public safety and efficient service delivery.

At around 6.30 pm on 9 May, MBKS was alerted by a member of the public about the hazard. Council staff immediately implemented temporary safety measures at the site, including the placement of warning tapes and a traffic cone, to ensure road users were aware of the danger and to prevent accidents.

According to MBKS, rectification works will commence on Monday, with the affected section of the road scheduled for repair to restore safe passage for motorists.
