MCC Mayor Adam Yii Hosts Meet-The-People Session in Pujut

MIRI – The Mayor of Miri City Council, YB Adam Yii, held a Meet-The-People session at SUPP Pujut on 4 April 2026, beginning at 10am.

The event provided a platform for community representatives, villagers, and individuals to meet directly with the mayor, submit invitations, present proposals, and raise concerns.

Mayor Yii highlighted the importance of such sessions in strengthening communication between local leadership and residents.

He explained that face-to-face dialogue allows him to understand community needs more effectively and respond to issues in a timely manner.

“I cherish this opportunity very much, which allows me to understand everyone’s needs and voices at the first time,” he said.

Over the years, these gatherings have evolved into more than just consultation sessions. They have become a bridge for collaboration, enabling both the council and the community to work hand-in-hand towards development goals.
