Incidents such as this serve as a reminder of the importance of regular vehicle checks and maintenance, especially for cars travelling long distances on routes such as the Miri-Bintulu Road. The prompt response from the JBPM once again highlights the efficiency and dedication of Sarawak’s fire and rescue teams in handling emergencies.

The stretch of road near Lambir National Park is known for its heavy traffic, particularly among locals and tourists heading towards Miri or Bintulu, making the quick containment of the fire crucial in preventing further damage or risk to other motorists.
