KUALA LUMPUR – A proud moment for Sarawak and the whole nation as Viviana Lin Winston, a young woman from Kuching, was crowned Miss Grand Malaysia 2025 in a glittering ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur last night.
With her striking poise, confidence and captivating presence, Viviana outshone other finalists and won the hearts of the judges to claim the national title. Her victory marks another milestone for Sarawak as she becomes one of the few East Malaysian beauties to hold a major national crown in recent years.

Viviana will now represent Malaysia at the Miss Grand International 2025, a world-renowned beauty pageant that promotes peace, goodwill and cultural exchange. The international competition is expected to take place later this year, bringing together contestants from over 70 countries.
“I am incredibly honoured and grateful for this opportunity to represent Malaysia on the world stage,” said Viviana during a brief press statement after the crowning moment. “This journey is not just about beauty, but also about sharing stories, inspiring others, and promoting unity.”
Her win has been celebrated widely on social media, especially among Sarawakians who expressed pride and support for her achievement. Many hailed her as a symbol of grace, intelligence and resilience—a true daughter of Bumi Kenyalang.
Viviana’s journey to the crown was marked by months of hard work, community engagement and preparation. She is known for her advocacy in youth empowerment and cultural heritage preservation, which she hopes to carry forward during her reign.
The Miss Grand Malaysia 2025 event was attended by celebrities, past titleholders, and beauty industry leaders, with performances and cultural showcases adding to the night’s glamour.
As Malaysia looks ahead to the international stage, all eyes will be on Viviana as she carries the hopes of the nation with her.
