Motorcyclist Breaks Leg in Bekenu Crash, Thrown Onto Car Roof

BEKENU: A man suffered a broken right leg after his motorcycle collided with a car at Simpang Bekenu, Jalan Persisiran Pantai Miri, Bintulu, around 8.30 PM last night.

According to reports from the scene, the accident happened when a car traveling from Miri to Niah crashed into the motorcycle. The impact of the collision caused the rider to be thrown onto the roof of the car before landing in the middle of the road.

Authorities have yet to confirm the victim’s identity. The Bekenu police and medical personnel from the Bekenu Health Clinic provided initial treatment before transferring him to Miri Hospital for further medical attention.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car, a woman, along with a passenger carrying a baby, escaped the accident without any injuries.
