The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) reported that they received a call about the single-vehicle accident at 7:18 AM.

In response, six personnel from the Meradong fire station, led by operation commander Peter Jinang, quickly arrived at the scene.

Upon arrival, they found a male victim lying in the ditch, visibly injured and unable to move. Firefighters immediately administered first aid, which included placing a cervical collar and leg brace to stabilize his condition.

Once stabilized, the victim was safely lifted onto a stretcher and transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance for further observation.
