During the site visits, the Deputy Minister received detailed briefings from the Mukah Division Engineer. The sessions covered current progress reports, challenges faced on-site, technical and logistical issues, and work planning strategies to ensure timely completion.
All projects are being implemented by the Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR), the state’s main technical agency.

Datuk Aidel emphasised that these developments are part of the government’s broader strategy to improve rural connectivity and ensure balanced growth across divisions.
He expressed confidence that the projects would be completed according to schedule, providing long-term benefits for local communities.
Observers note that the infrastructure works in Mukah are aligned with Sarawak’s wider development agenda, which prioritises accessibility, economic empowerment, and community well-being.
