12-Year-Old Girl Goes Missing in Padawan, Police Seek Public Help

KUCHING, 6 June 2025 – A 12-year-old girl has been reported missing in Padawan, prompting an urgent appeal from police to the public for assistance.

The missing girl has been identified as Hasidah Binti Halid, last seen in the Padawan area. According to Padawan District Police Chief, Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi, she was wearing a black head scarf, a black-and-white striped long-sleeved shirt, brown long pants, and carrying a brown handbag at the time of her disappearance.

Police are deeply concerned for her safety and are doing everything possible to trace her location. Supt Irwan urged the public to remain alert and to report any sightings or information that might assist in locating the girl.

“We are calling on anyone who may have seen Hasidah or knows anything about her whereabouts to come forward immediately,” he said.

Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact Sergeant Muhammad Fardaus Musadad from the Criminal Investigation Division of Padawan District Police Headquarters at 012-8963186, or the Padawan Operations Room at 082-862233.

The authorities are also calling on residents in the Padawan and surrounding areas to check their CCTV footage, especially in residential or shop lot areas, for any potential leads.
