“Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim, who was walking along the roadside, was struck from behind by an unidentified vehicle. The impact caused fatal injuries, and medical officers from the Ladang Tiga Health Clinic confirmed the victim’s death at about 4.05 pm,” Mohd Farhan said in a statement today.

He added that the victim has yet to be identified. Based on witness accounts, the man was last seen on October 16 in the Kampung Subis 1 area, approximately five kilometres from the accident site.

“The man was seen walking shirtless and wearing only a pair of shorts. He was of stocky build and had no visible tattoos,” he said.

Police are currently investigating the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
