PBB Dalat Honours 87 Veteran Members for Loyalty

DALAT – Eighty-seven veteran members of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) from 25 branches in the Dalat division were recognised for their lifelong dedication during a special ceremony. The event, held at the Dalat Welfare Complex, paid tribute to their unwavering loyalty and service.

The recipients, including grassroots activists and longstanding supporters, have been instrumental in strengthening the party’s foundation in the region through decades of political change.

Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah, Minister for Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development and Dalat Assemblywoman, officiated the ceremony. She described the veterans as the bedrock of the party’s enduring legacy.

“Our veterans are the foundation of the party. Their sacrifices and loyalty have carried the party through generations,” Fatimah stated. She emphasised that their commitment ensured the party’s core values continue to guide community development.

She further urged younger party members to draw inspiration from the veterans’ resilience and sincerity. The minister highlighted that PBB’s mission extends beyond politics to encompass compassionate public service.

The gathering also symbolised the party’s focus on fostering intergenerational connections. Veterans continue to contribute as advisors and community leaders in various local initiatives.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of appreciation certificates to all 87 honourees. Also in attendance were Pemanca Peter Lai Sakul and senior officials from the party’s various wings.
