KUCHING, 20 April 2025 – The Zone 3 Hari Raya Aidilfitri Gathering, hosted by the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok Branch, turned into a lively celebration of community spirit and unity.

Held within the Zone 3 area, the event brought together residents from four kampungs – Kampung Kudei Lama, Kampung Kudei Baru, Kampung Muhibbah, and Kampung Muda Hashim A. With over 300 guests attending, the celebration was filled with warmth, music, and the spirit of togetherness.

The event was further elevated by the attendance of Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Sarawak Energy Berhad and PETROS) and Satok Assemblyman, Dato Ibrahim Baki, alongside DBKU Mayor Dato Hilmy Othman and other grassroots leaders.

In his speech, Dato Ibrahim praised the strong teamwork among residents and leaders.

“I am truly proud to witness the positive outcomes brought about by the spirit of teamwork, unwavering unity and a shared sense of responsibility and trust,” he said.

Cultural performances, such as traditional ‘bergendang’ music, festive Raya songs, and the energetic ‘Nopeng’ dance, delighted attendees and highlighted the local cultural richness.

A lucky draw segment featuring 20 attractive prizes added more excitement, making the night memorable for families and individuals alike.

More than just a Raya celebration, the gathering served as a powerful reminder of the importance of grassroots unity, cultural preservation, and continued support for PBB’s community-focused mission.

As laughter echoed and hands were shaken in friendship, the event successfully reinforced the bonds that hold the Zone 3 community together. — UKAS EDITION
