KANGAR – The Perlis International Sunnah Convention (PISC) 2026 will be held from January 30 to February 1, 2026 at Dewan 2020 in Kangar, Perlis with an expected line-up of erudite scholars. The convention, titled “Sunnah: The Source of Knowledge” is designed to foster the knowledge of Sunnah and uplift communities locally and globally.
The current third round of the convention was initiated formally at the Seminar Al-Qardhawi in October 2025. The event, organised by the Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Perlis (Department of Islamic Religious Affairs Perlis), is expected to draw thousands of people, families and students as well as members of the public services. Entrance cost is completely free, so this is open to anyone and everyone who wants to take part in the learning process.
Dr. Zakir Naik will be the star attraction as he makes his third appearance at PISC. Everybody’s waiting for that kind of information from him, and he is expected to generate a lot of interest. He will be joined on stage by a formidable array of eminent speakers from around the world, who will present lectures, forums and roundtable discussions.

Each of these figures need no introduction, with regards to Islamic knowledge and da’wah, they are well known internationally.
So the convention is more than a speaking tour. It is described by its organisers as a rekindling of faith and getting back to the spirit of Sunnah. The program will include live sessions, panel discussions and chances for participants to speak with scholars directly.
This teaching emphasises that Sunnah is an invaluable source of guidance in matters of practical life. But, building on this, the conference aims to inspire discussion and learning among Muslims.
