Projek SUARA 2.0 Empowers Sarawak Youth as Agents of Change

KUCHING – The Yayasan Perpaduan Sarawak (YPS) has reaffirmed its commitment to youth leadership and civic engagement as Projek SUARA 2.0 began its series of dialogues and policy discussions this week. The initiative is designed to strengthen public understanding of key issues shaping Sarawak’s future.

Speaking at the opening, YPS Chief Executive Datu Aloysius J Dris described the programme as a historic milestone in advancing transformative platforms that connect young Sarawakians with pressing national and state-level topics.

He noted that the initiative reflects both government and YPS’ dedication to nurturing undergraduates and young professionals as future leaders and catalysts for change.

“We are pleased to bring together 60 young people from throughout the state to deliberate on much-talked-about topics such as MA63, PCDS 2030 and youth as changemakers, which are now widely discussed in the media and public sphere,” he said.
