KUCHING – Puan Dayang Norjihan binti Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari joined members of Sarawak Badan Amal Tenaga Isteri‑Isteri (SABATI) for a Khatam Al-Quran programme at the SABATI surau on 12 March 2026.
The gathering marked the end of a Tadarus Al-Quran programme held from 9 to 12 March in conjunction with Ramadan.
The closing ceremony was officiated by Morliah Awang Daud, who spoke about the value of reading the Quran together as a way to strengthen faith and unity among members.
Fifteen participants joined the Khatam Al-Quran session. Organisers divided them into five groups, each led by a designated group leader.
This structure kept the recitation organised and allowed the participants to complete the readings smoothly while building cooperation among the groups.
