Sarawak Governor Hosts Dinner with Deputy Premiers to Discuss State Development

KUCHING – The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, hosted a meeting and dinner session with the three Deputy Premiers of Sarawak at the Kasuma Resort Official Residence in Petra Jaya on Wednesday night.

Among the distinguished guests were Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan accompanied by his wife Dato Hajah Dayang Morliah Awang Daud, and Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Prof. Dr. Sim Kui Hian with his wife Dato Enn Siok Ean.

Also present were the children of the Head of State and Toh Puan, namely Sharifah Fariah, Sharifah Nong Jasmina, and Tasneem, who joined the evening’s cordial gathering.

The session, held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, provided an important platform to discuss current state matters, including development priorities, legislation, and governance.

Tun Pehin Sri Wan Junaidi and Toh Puan Fauziah expressed their hope that Sarawak will continue to enjoy stability, inclusive growth, and effective governance under a visionary leadership that prioritises the well-being of its people.

The dinner underscored the close rapport between the Governor and the state’s top leadership, reflecting a shared commitment to ensuring Sarawak’s continued progress on both the social and economic fronts.
