Sarawak Governor Attends MDDM Charity Dinner in Petaling Jaya

PETALING JAYA – The Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, attended a charity dinner hosted by the Majil Datuk Dato’ Malaysia (MDDM) at the Sheraton Hotel on Saturday evening.

The couple were warmly received by MDDM Chairman, Datuk Samson David Maman, together with members of the organisation’s leadership committee.

Among those present were Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Johari bin Abdul, who serves as MDDM’s honorary advisor, along with his wife, Puan Sri Datin Noraini binti Mohd.

Former MDDM President Datuk Awalan Abdul Aziz; Vice President Datuk Seri Lawrence Yeo Chua Poh; Secretary General Datuk C Josephine Anne; and Honorary Treasurer Dato’ Justin Lim Teck Yin were also in attendance.

The evening further included committee members such as Dato’ Melvin Tan Teck Zin, Dato’ Goh Cheh Yak, Datin Sophia Goh, Datuk Wira David Pang, Datin Wira Leanne, and Datuk Alvin Tee Guan Pian.

In his opening remarks, Dato’ Justin Lim Teck Yin expressed gratitude to the governor and his wife for their willingness to join the celebration, noting that their presence added prestige to the occasion.
