Upon arrival at Terminal 1, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA 1), the delegation was received by Mr. Awang Supian bin Awang Daud, Sarawak Liaison Officer, alongside representatives from Malaysia Airlines, officers from Astana Sarawak, and the Sarawak Liaison Office in Kuala Lumpur.

Before departure, prayers for a safe journey were led by Alfadhil Ustaz Haji Syed Mohd Rusydi bin Haji Wan Yusup, Religious and Research Officer at the Office of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak. The Governor, his wife, and family members joined in the prayers together with officers present at the airport.
