Sarawak Governor Visits YB Datuk Hajah Rosey’s Residence in Miri

MIRI – The Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, together with his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, visited the residence of YB Datuk Hajah Rosey binti Haji Yunus, Deputy Minister of Women, Children and Community Wellbeing of Sarawak, in Taman Bumiko, Miri, on 27 March.

The visit followed an earlier stop at the residence of Temenggong Haji Abang Mohamed, forming part of the Governor’s Aidilfitri programme in Miri.

The Governor was accompanied by his daughter Sharifah Nong-Jasima, her husband Muhammad Nur Hakeem Yusop, and their child Tasneem.

The arrival of the Governor and his wife was joined by several senior state leaders. Among them were Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts Sarawak, who also served as the ministerial escort, with his wife Datin Sri Hajah Zuraini binti Abdul Jaabar.

Also present were Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, Minister of Transport Sarawak, with his wife Datin Sri Kong Shui Lin, and Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts Sarawak.

The gathering was held in a warm and festive atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of Aidilfitri as a time for strengthening family and community bonds.

In his remarks, Tun Pehin Sri Wan Junaidi expressed appreciation for the hospitality extended by Datuk Hajah Rosey Yunus and her family.
