KUALA LUMPUR – The Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Abang Openg, attended the 148th First Ministers and Chief Ministers (MBKM) Meeting at the Malaysian Parliament today.

The Premier’s participation reflects Sarawak’s active role in shaping national policies while ensuring that the state’s priorities are represented at the highest level.
His presence also highlights the importance of maintaining strong ties between Sarawak and the Federal Government, particularly in areas such as economic development, infrastructure, and social welfare.
The MBKM meeting continues to serve as a vital mechanism for dialogue and collaboration, reinforcing Malaysia’s commitment to cooperative federalism.
By bringing together First Ministers and Chief Ministers, the forum ensures that diverse perspectives are considered in decision-making processes that affect the nation as a whole.
