The delegation was led by Mr Michael Toh, Managing Director of PUB and SWA, who met with Sarawak’s Minister of Utilities and Telecommunications, Julaihi Narawi, at MUT headquarters.
The session provided an opportunity to discuss future cooperation and exchange insights on water management practices.
Joining the meeting were MUT Deputy Permanent Secretary Syed Fauzi Sahab, Director of the Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) Ahmad Selihin, and Acting Chief Officer of Sarawak Water, Puan Malseni Jamal.
Their presence underscored the importance of inter-agency collaboration in strengthening Sarawak’s water industry.
Officials noted that the visit reflects Sarawak’s commitment to exploring innovative solutions and partnerships to enhance water supply and management.

The discussion also aligns with Sarawak’s broader vision of modernising its utilities sector, ensuring that water services remain efficient, resilient, and capable of meeting future challenges.
By engaging with PUB and SWA, MUT aims to strengthen technical capacity and explore new avenues for cooperation in areas such as resource management, technology adoption, and policy development.
