His Excellency Tuan Haji Hilmy bin Haji Othman, the Mayor of North Kuching, officially launched the Introduction Session for the Muaythai Tournament participants of the 8th Edition of His Excellency the President of Sarawak Cup 2024 at the Go Down Amphitheater tonight.

The highly anticipated event gathered over 200 participants from various local clubs across the nation in Kuching City. These athletes are set to compete from October 3 to 6 at the Taman Budaya Arena, bringing excitement and energy to the heart of Kuching.

In addition to local fighters, the tournament has drawn international attention, with 30 participants arriving from countries such as Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, and Iran. This global representation is set to make the competition fiercer and more thrilling for both athletes and spectators.

Residents of Kuching are encouraged to come out and support the Muaythai Championship as it marks yet another major sporting event for the city. The 8th Edition of the TYT Cup is expected to boost the city’s status as a hub for international sports.
