Senior Citizens Benefit from Kenyalang Gold Card & Health Services

KUCHING – The N.11 Batu Lintang Mobile Service, led by the Dong Ge Team under the leadership of Sih Hua Tong, hosted a successful community service session at Ban Seng Corner. The event, aimed at providing crucial information and services to senior citizens, was met with an enthusiastic response, particularly from the elderly seeking to learn more about the Kenyalang Gold Card and available health benefits.

The mobile service station was set up to assist seniors in understanding their entitlements, offering detailed guidance on how they can apply for various benefits. Two key services were highlighted: inquiries about the Kenyalang Gold Card and applications for senior citizen health benefits. These services are designed to help improve the lives of the elderly by ensuring they receive the necessary healthcare and assistance.

Throughout the event, attendees were treated to a warm and welcoming atmosphere where volunteers from the Dong Ge Team provided clear and helpful explanations. Senior citizens were able to ask questions and receive personalized advice, with many expressing their gratitude for the team’s support.

“We’re thrilled with the turnout and the positive impact we’ve had today,” said Sih Hua Tong, the team leader. “It’s an honor to assist our senior community in accessing the benefits they deserve, and we look forward to continuing our efforts in other areas.”

The event concluded with thanks to the local residents who attended, and special recognition was given to the dedicated team of volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the session’s success.

As the N.11 Batu Lintang Mobile Service looks forward to its next community engagement, it remains committed to reaching more corners of the community, providing essential services and information to those who need it most. — SUPP Batu Lintang Branch
