KUCHING – The construction of SJK Chung Hua Batu 11 has surpassed 60 percent completion and is on track to be fully completed by March 2026, according to Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Prof Dr Sim Kui Hian.

Speaking to reporters during a visit to the school construction site on Friday, Dr Sim praised the fast progress of the project, which began just last October with the groundbreaking ceremony.

“The building is now progressing from the second to the third floor. In just under a year, we’ve achieved a significant milestone – a clear sign of strong coordination between all parties involved, including committed contractors,” he said.

RM1.5 Million Boost for Completion

During the visit, Dr Sim also presented a cheque of RM1.5 million from the Sarawak Government to the school’s management board, further supporting the continuation of construction efforts.

The new school building is designed to accommodate more than 100 students, with a total project cost of RM7 million, including the RM4 million already allocated by the Sarawak Government.
