New Tables and Chairs Donated to SK Tabuan Jaya Pre-School

KUCHING A kind effort by the Village Affairs Bureau (VAB) N11 brought joy to the children of SK Tabuan Jaya Pre-School today. A total of 14 tables and 50 chairs were donated to help improve the learning space for the young students.

The donation was handed over by Saudara Sih Hua Tong, Chairman of SUPP Batu Lintang N11 Branch, and MBKS Councillor Roy Mason. They gave the furniture to the school headmaster, En. Mustapha bin Imbun, along with the teachers.

Also present was En. Tungi from the VAB Welfare Committee, who helped make this project possible. To make the moment even more special, Cr. Albert Tay, Chairman of the MBKS Child Council, was invited to join the event. After the handover, Cr. Albert gave out food goodies to all 47 pre-school children in two classes.

Cr. Albert also took the chance to speak with the headmaster and teachers about how the Child Council can help schools more in the future. He said it’s important to listen to the voices of children and support their needs.

This donation is part of the VAB’s effort to support local schools. It was made possible by the strong teamwork between the VAB and the local SUPP branch, as well as the kind-hearted donors who care about the community.

The school also prepared light refreshments for the visitors. Special thanks were given to En. Mustapha, Chegu Sylvia, and the rest of the teachers for their warm welcome and effort.

This small act of kindness shows that when the community works together, good things can happen for the children.
