KUCHING – A new partnership between SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SNS Network Technology Berhad, and Pay and Go Sdn Bhd has been formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in Kuching on 3 March 2026.
The MoU signing ceremony was officiated by the Mayor of Kuching South City Council (MBKS), Dato Wee Hong Seng. The collaboration aims to deliver integrated parking solutions that will support Sarawak’s smart city agenda and transform urban mobility.
The agreement comes as Sarawak enters the second five-year phase of the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030, which places strong emphasis on digital transformation.
The MOU sets out a framework for cooperation, combining SNS’s expertise in ICT infrastructure with Pay and Go’s strength in digital payment systems and software solutions.
Under the partnership, SNS will provide the hardware backbone, including servers, networking equipment, and technical support services.
The company’s vision is to harness ICT innovation to improve everyday life and empower communities. By delivering reliable infrastructure, SNS intends to lay the foundation for future initiatives such as IoT-enabled services.
Pay and Go will contribute its software platform, mobile applications, and payment gateways to ensure a secure and user-friendly experience. Its mission is to simplify urban living through seamless digital solutions.
By integrating its software capabilities with SNS’s infrastructure, the company aims to create a scalable and compliant system designed for long-term growth.
The collaboration will focus on phased rollouts, joint deployment, and expansion into wider smart city services. These include digital payments and IoT-enabled solutions that can enhance efficiency and convenience for municipalities and private operators
Both companies also plan to work together on marketing and branding to ensure strong public engagement and awareness.
The MOU, while non-binding, reflects the shared vision of both organisations to deliver solutions that enhance urban mobility and contribute to Sarawak’s long-term digital transformation. It underscores their commitment to transparency, accountability, and innovation.
Beyond Sarawak, the partnership envisions expansion into West Malaysia and ASEAN countries. This regional ambition aligns with Malaysia’s aspiration to position itself as a leader in smart city solutions.
