New logistical approaches, including clustered stall arrangements for halal and non-halal sections, handicrafts, and government exhibitions, aim to streamline traffic and maintain cleanliness.

The event, inaugurated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, also highlights Sri Aman’s unique tidal bore phenomenon (benak) through activities like the Batang Lupar RegattaBenak Road Trail Run, and Miss Tourism Benak 2025.

Enhanced safety measures, led by Sri Aman Resident Mahra Salleh, include increased security personnel, strategic boat placements, and public awareness campaigns against pickpocketing.

The festival’s theme, “Exploring the Uniqueness and Challenge of the Benak Phenomenon,” aligns with broader efforts to position Sri Aman as an international tourism destination.

Previous editions recorded a RM1.9 million return on investment for local businesses, and 2025 aims to exceed this through heightened visitor engagement.
