SUPP Batu Lintang Brings Mobile Help to Tabuan Heights Locals

SUPP Batu Lintang Brings Mobile Help to Tabuan Heights Locals

Tabuan Heights, KUCHING – True to their motto “Serving the people, with action that never stops!”, the Dong Ge Team from SUPP N.11 Batu Lintang took their mobile service counter straight to the heart of the community—this time setting up at the Top 10 Food Court, Tabuan Heights, early this morning.

The event, led by SUPP Batu Lintang Chairman Sih Hua Tong, aimed to assist residents, especially senior citizens and families in need, by making government aid services more accessible right at their doorstep.

  • Kenyalang Gold Card application assistance for senior citizens aged 60 and above.
  • Explanation and on-the-spot registration for the Senior Citizen Health Benefit programme.
  • Guidance on applying for the IPT Special Aid (RM1,200) for families of students from underprivileged backgrounds pursuing higher education.

These efforts are part of SUPP Batu Lintang’s ongoing commitment to ensure that no community is left behind when it comes to accessing vital aid from the government.

Despite the brief window of just a few hours, the turnout was strong and spirited. Many residents expressed their appreciation for the initiative, which they felt brought much-needed clarity and assistance directly to them without the usual bureaucratic hassle.

In his statement, Sih Hua Tong thanked the public for their continued support, adding that the overwhelming response is a reminder of how meaningful such community-based outreach efforts can be. “We will continue going down to the ground. Our mobile service will keep moving to different neighbourhoods to ensure help reaches the people who need it most,” he said.

As the cost of living and daily pressures mount, such mobile services are becoming a practical and timely solution—especially for the elderly and B40 families.

This initiative reinforces the party’s core mission of “Service to Your Doorstep” and the promise to keep working hand-in-hand with the community to build a more inclusive and compassionate society.
