SUPP Mobile Service 2U: Serving the People of Padungan This Morning!

KUCHING, 22 Feb 2025 – The Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Mobile Service 2U successfully held its community service session this morning at Tai Pan Corner, Padungan, Kuching. The initiative, aimed at assisting the public with various applications and enquiries, received overwhelming support, leading the team to extend their service until 11:30 AM.

The event was led by Dato Mayor Wee Hong Seng 黄鸿圣, OCS Padungan Enix Gø’h, MBKS Councillor Eric Tay Tze Kok, Cr Liew Leongyee, along with KMKK, SUPP Youth members, and volunteers. Their dedication ensured that the public received direct assistance without the hassle of long waiting times at government offices.

What Services Were Provided?

Residents were able to seek help for:
Complaints & Feedback – Sharing concerns with local authorities.
Senior Citizen Health Benefit (SCHB) & Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC) Applications – Supporting senior citizens and low-income groups.

SCIB – for all Senior Citizens aged 60 and above.
Sumbangan Keperluan Asas Sarawak (SKAS) Enquiries – Helping people understand housing and financial assistance options.

The initiative was well-received, with many residents expressing appreciation for the direct engagement with their community leaders. The SUPP team also took note of valuable feedback from the public, which will help improve future services and policies.

Commitment to the Community

SUPP’s Mobile Service 2U is a reflection of the Sarawak government’s commitment to making services more accessible to the people. By bringing solutions directly to the community, the initiative reduces bureaucratic hurdles and ensures faster, more effective assistance for residents.

With such a positive response, more sessions are expected in the future, continuing SUPP’s mission of serving the people and building a better Sarawak.
