The formation of this Bomba Community is seen as a smart step forward to improve the safety and preparedness of the Tabuan villages. With this community team in place, local residents can respond quickly during the early stage of any fire incident while waiting for the professional firefighters to arrive. This “first responder” approach can help prevent fires from spreading and causing greater damage.

The officers from the Fire and Rescue Station shared valuable knowledge and practical tips with the village leaders. This includes how to use fire extinguishers, steps to take during a house fire, and how to organize emergency response teams within their villages. Such information is important not only for fire emergencies but also for handling other disasters such as floods or landslides.

Community leaders who attended the session expressed their appreciation to the Fire Department for taking the time to guide them. They also promised to share the knowledge with their village residents through special training sessions and community events.

The Village Affairs Bureau committees from all five villages were also present to show support for this initiative. This collaboration between the villages and the Fire Department reflects strong community spirit and a shared goal to make Tabuan a safer place for all.
