Fu met Woranun earlier that evening at South Pattaya beach, unaware that she was transgender. Later that night, around 9pm, they agreed to meet at Fu’s apartment, where he paid 8,000 baht (approximately RM1,039) for sex. However, Woranun reportedly changed her mind, refusing to proceed, which led to Fu demanding a refund.

The disagreement quickly turned violent. Fu claimed that during the heated argument, he was scratched and kicked by Woranun. In a fit of rage, Fu choked her until she collapsed. The brutal act did not stop there — Fu admitted to dragging her lifeless body to the bathroom where he gruesomely cut open her body using scissors.

He went on to “play” with the corpse, cutting off her silicone breast implants and removing her heart. Investigators later found that one of Woranun’s lungs was also missing, although Fu denied tampering with it. After committing the act, Fu cleaned the crime scene, went to sleep, and attempted to flee the country the next morning.

Thanks to quick police action, Fu was arrested at Suvarnabhumi Airport on 26 April, just before he could board a flight back to China. Pattaya Police Chief Anek Srathongyoo confirmed Fu’s confession, citing overwhelming evidence.
