In a statement, Trump emphasized that Zeldin’s leadership will focus on deregulating American businesses, aiming to “unleash the power” of these industries without compromising the quality of the environment. Zeldin, who has a strong record in pushing back against regulatory restrictions, aims to strike a balance between economic growth and environmental protection.
