KUALA LUMPUR: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar participated in the 268th Conference of Rulers Meeting that began on February 5 at Istana Negara in the heart of the capital.

According to a statement shared on Wan Junaidi’s official Facebook page, the event was also attended by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, alongside the Malay Rulers, Governors, and Chief Ministers from various states.

The meeting, chaired by His Royal Highness Tuanku Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, the Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman, is a significant gathering that fosters discussions on issues vital to the nation’s stability and governance.

One of the key agenda items during this prestigious meeting was a security briefing presented by the Inspector-General of Police and the Chief of the Malaysian Armed Forces. This session provided important updates on the nation’s security and defence.
